Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of this college is average.It covers most of things but the syllabus has not radically changed to help the students meet today's market needs.Also courses don't include learning of important softwares for the trade.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of National Design College is good.Decent placement packages are offered to students but don't expect exceptionally high packages.For really high packages off campus placement is preferred more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
National Institute of Design is little expensive.The fees for 30 months of Masters in Design is around 7.21 lacs excluding the hostel fees. Students can take educational loans from banks to fill their academic fees.
Campus Life
There is a diverse range of extracurricular activities taking place on the college campus.Festivals like Holi,Diwali, Christmas , Ganesh Chaturthi and many more are also celebrated on the campus.The college believes in treating all the cultures equally.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel facility in the college.Students usually rent out a flat or pg as per their convenience near the college.Majority of the students rent out flats in Platinum City apartments which is nearby the college.
Admission
National Institute of Design-Bangalore was established in 2006 as an initiative of the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion(DIPP).NID Bangalore M.Des admissions are done on the basis of an entrance examination called Design Aptitute test.
Faculty
Being one of top institutes of the country,it provides the student with highly qualified and highly experienced faculty.The teachers are accessible and always there to help their students.The faculty helps the students in the best possible manner.
