Course Curriculum Overview
M.Des in NID (Bengaluru) is mainly offered under five major specializations: Universal Design, Digital Game Design, Information Design, Interaction Design or Design for Retail Experience. The M.Des is a course for 2 years and 6 months.
Placement Experience
The placement of NID is the best in Designing industry. The placement cell is so coordinating, they help students to go through every step regarding the placement applications. They also organise yearly face to face meeting with the employers.
College Events
NID is a great place for campus life. They organizes many wonderful and eve catching events for the students.This college have different kind of departments which undertakes different kinds of activities. Like NIDUS is a shop at NID which exhibit designs of the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is not so costly, it is average in my opinion. As this course is of 2 years and 6 months. The fee for the first year is Rs. 2.26 lakhs ( 160000 tuition fee + 65800 other fees). And fee for second year is Rs.2.15 lakhs (160000 tuition fee + 55000 other fee). Total fee comes to Rs.4.41 lakhs.
Campus Life
The is consists of various communities like sports, cultural events, workshop and recruitment. The Disciplinary team monitors all ragging, and other related issues. Any student found guilty will be punished.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel charges same amount of money for boys and girls hostel. The yearly charges are surprisingly very much less as Rs. 25000- 30000. The charges differs for facilities like room sharing (2-4). The mess is also good and food is hygienic.
Admission
For taking admission in NID for M.Des, students should have passed 3 years graduation degree from UGC or AIU recognized college. Along with this he/she should have some work experience also. The final selection of the candidate will be based on Academic performance, Interview and test score in DAT. The applicants should have to apply online only.
Faculty
All the faculty members are fully qualified and experienced, no doubt. All of them are very polite to the students and are of a helping nature. All the sessions were very interactive and faculties help everyone regarding there queries.
