Remarks
The college is best for the education and designs and gives the exposure to experiment and use our full potential in the field of designers. The college has finest of the faculty members with the best education and job opportunities. The environment of the college is also stressfree and has brotherhood around.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was two years and six months along with five semesters in total. The last semester was our internship semester where we had to submit our final project as a designer in our respective fields. The externals and the internals were taken at the end of each semester with the practical examinations, the practical presentations used to take place after each month. Overall the course curriculum was stressfree and relaxing.
Placement Experience
The college used to organise the job placements at the end of final year. Where all the well known firms and companies used to come and interview us and the selection was on the basis of self merit and academic performances. 95% of the students were placed each year through our college and the package ran between Rs.8 lakhs per annum to Rs.12 lakhs per annum.
College Events
The college used to host several cultural festivals and events like annual day, sports day, ceremonies like farewell and freshers. All the students used to participate in these programs and showed the same amount of enthusiasm. The sports day event let the students to compete between different departments. The annual day led the students to showcase their multi-talents like music and dance, instruments etc. Ceremonies like scholarship and honors were hosted by the college, the freshers hosted by the seniors for the juniors and the farewell from the juniors to the seniors.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees was submitted annually in the form of demand draft, credit card, debit card payments. The fees was expensive around Rs.1,76,000 approximately for first year and the total was around Rs.4,50,000 for the total course. The college was reputed and the placements were guaranteed which made the fees worth it.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college was beautifully constructed and appealing which led the students to feel stressfree. The libraries were fully equipped with the related textbooks. The campus gave us an opportunity to work individually on our respective project works and focused on practical knowledge rather than the theoretical. Every student was respectable to one another, we used to participate in all the events with the same enthusiasm and respect.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure was beautifully constructed with play grounds and gardens around. The washrooms were neat and clean with the hygienic conditions, the rooms were equipped with the basic facilities and were spacious enough. There were two separate buildings for boys hostel and girls hostel respectively. The mess used to have disciplined and strict timings with healthy and delicious food. The hostel was overall a safe and secure environment.
Alumni/Alumna
The alimony meet used to happen every year where are ex-seniors delivered the lectures on their experiences and exposure. They were all very humble and polite to us, and give us guidance wherever needed. The brotherhood around the campus was seen in the ex seniors as well and there was a mutual respect between all the students.
Admission
After my bachelors in design I applied to the university via their official website and filled in the application form which was available online. The selection was on the basis of my bachelors and my 12th board examination results, I filled in the details and attached the required documents. After the step one I was called to the college campus for the personal interview session where the teachers took my interview. After clearing the interview round I was selected to the final stage of the registration and was asked to deposit the 1st year fees.
Faculty
Difficulty of the college was well qualified and all were known nobles with PhD degree in their respective fields. The teachers were friendly and humble with the students and always used to help and guide us along. They were all fluent in English and this led to no communication gap.
