Entrance Preview

Atit exam. It was told to me by my teacher. He recommend me ICFAI University saying that it was good. I like electronics and was interested in pursuing it as my career.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is actually hard (though it looks simple) but working a little hard will easily yield A grade in all subjects. It's a CGPA based system. It's fun of you study and bad if you don't. That simple.

Internships Opportunities

I have 2 internships. One in 2nd year summer holidays and one in my last year for one Complete semester. I have successfully completed my first internship but haven't done my second one (being in 3rd year still). Internships can be chosen by us. We aren't forced to choose the internships the college provides.

College Events

College events are celebrated by more than 70% of the students (belive me that's good considering many people aren't usually interested). There are two technical events every year. One is for Engineering day and the day following that. The other one is a yearly technical fest. There is also one sports meet and a Annual college fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a little high. So I'll say kinda expensive (me being middle class). It's tuition fee is 85k per semester for 4 years and 40k per semester for Hostel and mess fees. The mess is top quality.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, scholarship and loan facilities are posted by the college.

Faculty

Faculty are extremely good (well most of them). Compared to other colleges where lecturers come and go. Here they make a great effort to teach the students and also help them (like in schools). That's actually great (when compared to other colleges as I said).

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good at our college, 85% of students get placed evry year. The highest package offerd was 59 LPA by microsoft. Average package is around 4.5 LPA. From 3rd year 2nd semister students are eligible for placements. I secured a good placement.

My life at ICFAI LAW Hyderabad

I had applied for other colleges but due to family issues, i couldn't go out of my home town for education. I had gotten into symbiosis but i saw the fee structure was too high and no transport facility was provided, then. There was also a safety issue with symbi as there were a lot of drug abuse cases reported. However, the courses thatbare offered in symbiosis are mostly corporate based and i am happy with my current electives as i want nothing to do with the corporate sector.
