Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of my college was very good. All the students were given good learning and extracurricular opportunities. The college infrastructure was great. Exams were well planned and executed effectively by the college examination department

Placement Experience

The placements in my college were quite average. The college used to organize placement drives inviting companies to select candidates for placement in the last semester. The students were selected on interview basis

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my college was very feasible and affordable. My fee for b.com was 3345 rupees per year. I thank the college for providing me with scholarship opportunities as well for academic support

Campus Life

The college had number of societies of extracurricular activities and competitions as the college had a fantastic vision of transforming it's students into all rounder personalities by developing soft and learning skills in them

Admission

As soon as the board results were declared, I decided to pursue b.com from Pondicherry university, Directorate of distance education. I applied for admission in the college through online process and got shortlisted on merit basis

Campus Life in an island

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because it was rare. Not many colleges offer this course. So the certificate has its value. Curriculum doesn't necessarily prepares you for real world applications, but you have to opportunities to develop skills. You can work with phd scholars , they are all very friendly and let's you work with them and learn. The curriculum could be improved by introducing more about fisheries, currently the syllabus focus on oceanography, biochemistry and other laws or policies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pondicherry University has good sociology department and well trained professors.That ' s why I choose this.The curriculum contains major sociological concepts and theories and areas like rural and urban sociology, gender sociology,youth sociology and social on.The teaching methods should be improved.The exam schedule is tight.I write two semester exams in a day.The questions are not too hard but don't gets marks.

Students become eligible for placement from 3rd year 6th semester itself but the college does not bring any company for placement on time. 5 years back standard companies lkke tsc, hcl, cts etc used to come. But nowaday it is very rare. Lowest package is 2 lpa and highest package is 6 lpa. Average is 4 lpa. Very least students get placed. Try off campus. Do not believe the college
