My College Review

Course curriculum is nicely designed and subject to any modifications recommended by previous batches. So, it is not a freezed one as is common among central universities. One of the benefits of being an autonomous institute. Faculties have very good knowledge and attitude towards teaching and guides for new ideas.

Placement was good. 100% of the batch was placed after the placements Day 2. Companies ranged from FMCG, consulting , IT and manufacturing and Banks. People pretty much had jobs up to their expectations. The internships are an integral part of the curriculum.

Hostels are good with nice architect. The rooms are single. Boys and girls have separate hostels, although girls can freely come in boys hostels. Sadly, boys can't visit the girls hostel. The hostel and mess fees is included in college fees. The overall fees during my stay in the college was 8 LPA.

Campus life is great. The campus is lush green with all the technology. Just do a search on beautiful college campuses in India and you will find our college in almost every search result. The gender ratio in my batch was on the lower side, 10:1, but our juniors had a better ratio of around 4:1.

Every year, an event is conducted is held in our college right before the session begins and one can visit and get a catch-up with the alumni. Alumni network is decent and we still get info about job openings in our mail box. They are super cool and helpful in nature.

Minimum marks in class 10/12 : 50% . Minimum marks required in graduation : 50% . The admission process is done on the CAT scores . You have to give Career Aptitude Test in order to secure admission to this college. After the entrance process an interview session is conducted.

Faculty was mix of permanent and Guest. As this college has a lot of faculty we really are greatful to our college. This helped us to benefit in our understanding a lot. With class size being smaller every student got a good focus from the faculty and our involvement with the faculty were very high which resulted in them sharing more knowledge than usually possible in a normal class scenario.
