BA memories

The course duration is of 3 years. College offers various facilities such as good canteen, auditorium, huge library, laboratories and art galleries. I used all these resources and gained my skills. The theory and practical exams conducted by the college every semester.

Placement and job opportunities are good. Very few companies came as it is arts stream. But the college conducted various placement sessions, aptitude classes and mock interviews to develop interview skills of the students.

Events are the most beautiful scenario in the college. All the festivals celebrated here. Also republic Day, independence day, annual functions and convocation ceremony all are celebrated here beautifully. All students participated in it and showcase their skills.

The fees of the college is also feasible and affordable. The college charges about 7-8 thousands rs. Per year. In this fees, college provides all the facilities to the students. One more thing is scholarships are also available for talented and poor students.

We participated in all the Extracurricular activities arranged by the college frequently. The activities were like quizzes, seminars, debates, dramas and much more. In short, college focused on overall development of students hence all these activities and sports activities were also arranged by the college.

As it was women's college, there is a girls hostel inside the college campus. The hostel faculty is like parents and takes care of all the students. But the rules and regulations are quite strict. All the facilities are available in every hostel room.

Assam Women's University is one of the best Institute for post graduation and graduation courses in Assam. College offers graduation courses like BA, Bsc and post graduation courses like MA, MBA. I am interested in Arts so I took admission in Assam Women's University after completing my 12th.The admission process is purely based on merit.

The faculty of the college is too supportive and friendly. They are highly educated and experienced. Their creativity and imagination skills are remarkable. We tried to gain all these skills from them. They also helped us every time.
