Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is constantly updating at SDUMC. MBBS is a uniform course all through the country so the subjects are all same. But SDUMC takes practical knowledge very seriously and thus students are required to give presentations quite often.
Placement Experience
Placements are very good at our college. The highest package goes up to 20 LPA where as the lowest package is somewhere close to 6-7 LPA. Students mostly go for internships because most of them want to go for masters.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The free structure is divided on a yearly basis. The fees for one year is 13 lakhs. SO for 5 years the fees is close to 65 lakhs. It is on the expensive side that other medical colleges. This only includes the academic fees.
Campus Life
There are a lot of cultural events happening at SDUMC. Annual Fest happens once a year where there are a lot of functions out up by students. Our sports ground is huge and our college hosts a lot of sports inter and intra college tournaments that students participate in.
Hostel Facilities
Infrastructure is very good. The campus is well constructed and centrally Air conditioned. There is Wi-Fi always available in the hostel and campus. The hostel rooms are decent. The food could be a bit better.
Admission
To get admission in MBBS you have to have 50% marks in 10+2 from a recognised board and you also must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects. Apart from that you also have to appear for NEET and according to your AIR you will be given admission.
Faculty
SDUMC has some of the best doctors as professors. They are some the most reputed doctors and they have a lot of knowledge which they don't hold back. They are very supportive and approachable both inside and outside class.
