It is a state open university offering distance education. Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu focuses on providing quality distance education to its students. The college aims at helping the students achieve proper education despite the distance barrier.
Course Curriculum Overview
M.com is a Post Graduate course for students with a background in commerce. The course curriculum is stretched over a period of 2 years with 4 semesters. The course focuses on business management, finance, accounting and marketing.
Placement Experience
Placement are not there in the institute, we are not given placement through any campus selection or another, we have to try and get job only by us and we have to try that. There is no internship facilities provided by the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the B.com course in our college is feasible compared to other colleges. The fees for each year of the course is Rs. 6,405, which sums up to Rs. 19,215 for the entire course of 3 years.
Campus Life
There are less extracurricular activities as it is a distance school so we do not have regular college. There are frequent workshops held in our college. Our college also conducts informative seminars that help the students with guidance and learning. We also have environment drives like tree planting hosted in our college
Hostel Facilities
No there are no hostel facilities for neither boys or girls. There are hostel facilities for only regular students and not for students studying in distance mode. So, there is no hostel facilities provided by the college
Admission
For Post Graduate courses in our college, the applicants have to fill out an online form and submit scanned copies of necessary certificates. After which the students will be selected on merit basis and granted admission in the college after the payment of fees at the college.
Faculty
It is also good. All types of courses are done here for example. B.A. B.Sc. B. Com/ M.A. M.Sc. m.com/B ED, LLB etc. Here the education system is very good. Teachers are good enough to provide education. Hence, I recommend to other students to take admission in this university.
