Course Curriculum Overview

Master of Commerce is a post graduation program which has the duration of 2 years. The course follows semester system and has a good course structure and focuses on lots of practicals. The days and exams are also tiring.

Placement Experience

The college is one of the good institutions in India. The institution however does not provide with any internships and on campus job placement to the students. However, the students can find jobs in various sectors in the country.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of M. Com is around 30 thousand which is very feasible as per the needs and demand of the course in the growing industry. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

Campus Life

The college is good in its extracurricular activities. They also provide with very good education and facilities to the students. Also all the necessary equipments are provided to the students for their good education.

Admission

The Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) ,also known as Institute of Correspondence Education, Jammu University was founded in 1976. To get admission,the student should be a B.Com Graduate with 60% Marks in any discipline. They will also have to give the entrance exam and they will be selected on the same basis.

The faculty of the college is appointed with the focus in quality education of students. They are well qualified and trained with a great experience. They have good command over their respective subjects. They also encourage students in every possible way and help them when they need.

Remarks:

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.

The Directorate has proper infrastructure in the form of halls for Personal Contact Programme (PCP), seminar presentation, viva-voce and counseling sessions. Directorate of Distance Education has also established a network of UG Learners Support Centres at Rajouri, Kathua, Udhampur, Bhaderwah, Poonch, Doda, Kishtwar to ensure effective academic and administrative support to distance learners.
