Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This course curriculum deals with the innovative fractal academics, pioneered by IIT Hyderabad. This helped me gain knowledge and made me identify the interests in me which in turn decided my career and I am thankful for that and we had 8 long semesters and we had the option to choose the courses of our choice.

Placement Experience

4.5

In my batch companies like TCS, Infosys and Microsoft came to our college for campus recruitment and provided us opportunities and almost 80% of students did apply for placements where only 40% of the students got selected. I was selected for TCS and where they provided a stipend of Rs 25 Lakhs.

College Events

4.5

Every year college celebrated all common events such as Teachers day and National day functions. We were also taken to industrial visits and many trips to understand the real life mechanism. We also had scientific exhibitions where one can establish his own personal talents.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for my course is 7,25,000 Rs. and 1.81 Lakhs Rs. per year. The fee structure was feasible for students who would like to pursue B.Tech in a reputed college and we found it worthy to pay for the knowledge gained during these years. Students did get benefitted out of it as they also got placed in a reputed firm.

Campus Life

4

Both cultural and extracurricular activities acted as a platform for students to showcase their personal interests such as singing, dancing and resources such as Wi-Fi and many sports instruments like cricket kit, volleyball ground were provided to us and they did encourage their students to come out with flying colours.

Alumni/Alumna

There was no alumini network for us but we did have a student council where we tried to impress our juniors and convinced them to solve their problems once we are elected by them and we made sure we did help our juniors who are not affordable to buy books and help them get the books needed. We also did represent our students and stood front made all efforts to solve them.

Admission

I got admission after clearing the national level entrance examination called JEE Main. The eligible criteria were to be placed between 10000 for males and 16000 for females. They offered me B.Tech in Computer Science and Technology which made my 4 years of college, a one to remember as it turned my life.

Faculty

4

The faculties did help our students understand the depth of a subject and tried to clear the doubts as they are very talented. They all are well qualified. They gave us the knowledge which is helpful for us in future examinations. They did conduct extra classes for few subjects to get deeper into the subjects and this was only for students who are interested.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average.
