Remarks

Management was poor with very few infrastructure facilites at the time we were studying in that college cureretly the college has upgraded little bit.

Entrance Preview

We were the batch of students where CAT, GUJCAT and JEE or other exams were not required to get entry in the college we were getting direct admission to college on bass of our makrs obtained in HSC.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have completed the BE CIVIL with Structure as Elective the curicullum was well defined by the Bhavanagar University in refrence to all the active goverment colleges running in gujrat as per AICTE.

Internships Opportunities

No stipend offred but adani and few such other companies comae to college for internship as most of the companies dont prefer the goverment college for the trainee or internship.

Faculty were very helpful and very kind and very useful an ready to guide anytime they always were ready any time anywhere when needed the help they even led us to many extra curicullar activeits that can be helpful in future.

Placement Experience:

the placement at vgec at decent, especially considering it is a government college with very low fees. student become eligible for campus placement from the 6 th and the main placement drives begin in the 7 th and 8 th semesters. many well known compnies visit the camppus every tear for software , core engineering and management roles. compnies like TCS, infosys, wipro , taat consultancy, adani, gsfc,and a few stertup hire students from different branches. the number of offers varies every year , but the overall trend is improving . some companies offer multiple job roles such as software engineer , QA engineering , embendede engineering , trainee engineering and analyst position . higher pacage is 5 lacks. after completing my degree , i plan to focus on improving my technical skills .

Decent college with room to grow

Placement Experience:

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester.The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree,wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also,beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects,they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.
