Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed according to the norms specified by Dr.MGR University. A broad spectrum of knowledge in the medical field is being given to us through theoretical and practical sessions.
Placement Experience
As our college also runs a hospital, the placement opportunities are enormous. Also, we are given the opportunity to pursue one year of internship after completing the course. This is mandatory and it gives us enough practical experience.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For MBBS, our college?s specified fee is very feasible when compared to other medical colleges. They collect around 2,00,000 rupees per annum as tuition fee. This fee has to be paid during the commencement of the academic year.
Campus Life
We always take time to celebrate certain occasions amidst our busy schedule. Some of them are freshers party and farewell party. This is considered as an opportunity to bond with seniors and juniors.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The infrastructure is well built and maintained. The hostel rooms have good ventilation and lighting. The hostel also has well maintained dining hall where healthy food is provided for the hostellers.
Admission
The minimum qualification required to apply for MBBS in Sri Muthukumaran Medical College is to have secured at least 50% in NEET and also should have passed 12th standard board exams. The admissions are strictly based on NEET marks.
Faculty
Our professors are highly qualified in teaching and they are all well accomplished doctors in various specialisations. It is indeed a privilege to study under their guidance and they are very supportive as well.
