Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is descriptive and relevant which covers the major aspects of the subject. The course is updated according to the recent changes also which can be helpful to the students in the long run.

Placement Experience

The placements are moderate in college every year 60% of students were placed in top-notch organizations and companies with a high amount of packages. The companies who visited the college are AY, Gigabit Technologies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for 2 years M.Com is rs 65,400 which is feasible and affordable by every student. The fees are inclusive of tuition fees, examination fees, admission fees, and more. The college has scholarship programs for the students.

Campus Life

The college organizes various events, activities, seminars, workshops, annual functions, cultural fest, conferences, inter-college competitions, e-submits. We also celebrate occasions and festivals every year.

Admission

The admission depends upon the entrance examination PU USOL and they publish the results online. The selected students can go for counseling sessions and complete the admission formalities along with submitting all necessary documents.

First SEM Experience

Placement Experience:

Around 80-90% of the students get placed in my course. The average package is 3LPA - 5LPA. This college has a decent placement record. The highest package offered is 7.6LPA. Companies like Google , Deloitte , Amazon , Infosys , Wipro , etc. come to the campus to pick excellent students for their company. The college also has a dedicated placement cell which helps the students to prepare for placements.

Pec...The best college in chd

Placement Experience:

This college has decently good packages both the average package and median packages as well as almost 80 percent studnets are placed before the 4th year ends...if I talk about my branch the median was 11 lpa and almost 90 students were palced out of 120 in 2024

My review of PEC Chandigarh

Course Curriculum Overview:

For improvement in teaching methods, they can go digital, like using smartboards, or use more practical teaching methods, or maybe just improve the way of teaching simply. Teaching methods here really need upgrades, mostly students here have to rely on youtube when exams come near.

Pec is still worth it

Placement Experience:

The placements have been lowered by 10-20% recently, but they are getting better. You will get a job if you manage cgpa above 7 and are decent with your skills, but then don't dream for 20lpa + jobs, you need to work upon yourself in silence to get 25-50 lpa packages and they do happen in our colleges, highest package in electrical 2024-25 was 52 lpa and in ece cse they had 61 lpa. Companies start coming in 3rd year for internships, only 10% manage to get intern in 3rd year, companies like microsoft, atlassian, flipkart, mercedes, jp morgan etc. they do come. Placement perecentage is like 75-80% in electrical and it is very low in civil (around 40-50%), in cse it is like 90% or even higher. My plan is to get an intern asap. (Maybe in 2nd year theough offcampus)

There is a placement cell but I do not have much information about it, as my course does not offer any placements, but there are other courses such as BCA, BCom and BSc CS which offers placement, according to me it must be around 30k to 40k per month

College Life : An interesting part of life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a Science student , I loved my curriculum as it provides application parts with laboratories . I choose this course as I always wanted to learn more about science and its various fields. For me overall curriculum is good and have moderate level but I would suggest to reduce the syllabus little bit so that most of the students can learn whole syllabus Exams are being conducted regularly as per the University guidelines.

Good to go for this University

Since I am pursuing my BCom from us. So getting admission is quite easy you need not pass any entrance test and the admission process is totally online the minimum criteria to get admission for the BCom is 45% in your 12th examination. All the queries related to the examination whether it's application fees application form application dates can be found on the official website of USOL. Yes, there are reservation benefits Since I am from the general category I did not get that benefit but if you are the one who is from another category rather than general you can get a discount for the minimum fees. The sincentile process is online so I don't think it is any neat to change when it comes admission process....Read More

Honest review of USOL panjab university

I'm studying in 2nd year of BA in USOL and I can tell you the good and bad things about USOL then, Good:- this is an open university so you can study for any government exams like UPSC SSC and many more. The USOL gives you one-week offline classes for covering the syllabus and you can easily pass in your course. BAD:- I think there are not any bad things in this institute. Admission process:- There's an official website of the USOL for admission. You can easily register on there and fill the admission form and take admission. After that, you can do your payment online or post office and bank draft after your payment you need to go the university for face to face verification then you got admission in this open university. Reason for preferring this college:- you can study full time on your dream jobs like IAS bank PO SSC and many more.
