Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum of Institute of Tropical Meteorology College is based on two stages, it contains on two / four alternate days. The first stage is to view the candidates with respect to their grasp in the subject of specialty, general aptitude, reasoning skills. The second phase of the interviews on the third / fourth day will be mostly to observe the systematic and cross-disciplinary capabilities, interest in the subject of training, research aptitude, and motivation to make an occupation in climate science. The candidates selected will be intimated appropriately and its necessary to join the training in the last week of June or early July month.
Placement Experience :
All those who successfully complete the training program will be placed in any one of the constituent institutions. The students are selected in core companies, and overall, the placement percentage was about 60%.The highest salary package offered was 7.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.1 LPA. About 40% of the students got internships offer.

Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees structure of IITM IS feasible for the chosen candidates will be inducted in the training program and will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs.25000/- per month with an annual increment of Rs.1,000/- . as per selection criteria. All fees are acceptable in cash and DD in favour Of College. The monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/ is during the training period. The trainees can pursue PhD degree after placement and same time can be part of the PhD training is expected to be in leading institutions abroad. The initiation training period is for 18 months.

The main purpose of the program is to make a big group of enthusiastic multi-disciplinary scientists in climate and earth system sciences. As the Institute has a flexible academic program. Admission :
To get the entrance in Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology College, candidates should achieve first class marks in M.Sc / M.Tech / MS degree or the same in Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, Chemistry, Ocean Sciences, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Geophysics, or any other region of Earth Sciences or any related subject with Physics and Mathematics at the graduate stage. Those appearing for final exam can also apply but the final selection will be based on detailed interview at Pune in June or July every year. As you can submit the online forms along with CV.The original documents like mark sheet of qualifying examination and certificate of matriculation exam will be returned to the candidates right away after verification and the attested photocopy of the document will be kept by the institution of higher education for record. The candidate which is selected must pay the required charges at the time of admission.
Faculty :
College faculty of Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology is responsible for preparing course materials and teaching classes. Faculty conduct related research in their field of skill. Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) today has an energetic campus with strong faculty members of repute and helpful non-teaching staff members.
