Entrance Preview

I had to write CAT examination. My score was 96.68 percentile. SPJIMR being one of the top 10 b-schools of India was an obvious choice. SPJIMR has a different selection process than most other top b-schools. Along with the CAT score they look at the overall profile of the candidate and endorse diversity.

Internships Opportunities

I interned at the demand and supply planning department of a world renowned FMCG company. It was a great learning experience as I could have a broad overview of many operational activities. My stipend was Rs 60, 000 per month the internship was of 2 months. On an average students received Rs 60, 000 / month stipend.

Placement Experience

Very good placement opportunities. World renowned companies from different domains come for recruitment such as consulting, FMCG, Pharma, Manufacturing, BFSI, Investment Banking, etc .

Fee Structure And Facilities

As expensive as any other top b-schools we had to pay a fee of 11 lakhs for 2 years study for international exchange program the payment was additional.

Fees and Financial Aid

I myself have not availed any scholarships. There are incentive programs for international exchange students if they perform well in their 1st year of college.

Exam Structure

There are 4 semesters each semester has 2 clusters. Examinations are held at the end of every cluster also there are quizzes held for every subject.

There are some permanent and a few visiting faculties for the operations management course. All of the faculties bring with them years of experience in their respective fields.

Placement Experience:

After completimg 2sem students are eligible for campus placements. Mock GD and interviews are conducted in 2 sem whivh will be assessed and will affect the overall SGPA. There are multiple companies like JLL, CBRE, Turner and Townsend, AWFIS, C&W, SPCL,GR Infra, GMR, Rider Levett Bucknail, Godrej, ICICI Bank, JWIL, Knight Frank, Savills, Vishwaraj etc. Around 98% of the students were placed from the campus interview. Profiles were for project management. Highest package was 28 LPA by Rider Levett Bucknail.

Throwback to RICS Mumbai

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students will be eligible for placements The placement criteria for placements is having 6.0 or above pointer in attempted semesters and they have to keep that grade up to the end of the course. The highest package was 30 lakh for Dubai bases company related to Real Estate and minimum Package was 3.75 lac for the freshers in Construction Project Management course. 40% of students get placed while 20% opted out and the rest of the students are still getting placement opportunities from the institute.

Remarks:

The surroundings of our college are very interesting, there are guest lectures, workshops. Also, Fresher parties and all of the other events make life at our college very enjoyable. The presence of the college authorities on social media keeps the student updated on the recent news or events that are happening at the campus.

Genuine SPJIMR review

SPJIMR PGPM program ends by Oct 15th however for rest of the college's it ends by Jan end. So due to early offer and opportunities Spjimr gets an edge. Once student gets offer from SPJIMR in Oct mid, they don't want to withdraw from course as other colleges will be out only in Jan end and don't want to loose the 1st opportunity and same was the case with me....Read More

My College Review

I had applied for B-schools based on their rankings, so top 10-12. SPJIMR is one of them. There was no quota here and the application was purely merit and CAT score based. There were two ways of getting calls for interviews – profile-based (Exceptional all-around profile) and the usual CAT score based. Though in all cases the min criteria were 85%tile overall and 75%tile in each QA, LRDI, VARC for the call to be valid.
