Remarks

I joined the college because this was the only college in the state of Chattisgarh to provide the course of BA English Hons with Mass communication. Making it not a general course like most humanities courses are. It is a professional course with a bright future ahead.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course has a lot of practical aspect to it. The subjects taught and the way it is taught makes us ready for life.

Class Size: 28Course Fees: INR 17000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We are gonna have an internship program in our 6th and last semester. It will be off campus with a plethora of options suiting one's convenience.

Placement Experience

We have a good scope of Campus Selection which will help us excel in our career. As our subject is mass communication we have a huge scope in the media industry and we have frequent visits to local media outlets.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees amount is reasonable and one gets job in accordance to there capability.

Campus Life

We have annual function in our college and I was lucky enough to be a host at the event helping me improve my oratory skills. The library is amazing as we not only get our course related books we also are provided with plethora of options which leads to all round development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The bachelor of arts course provides you various subjects to choose to study for your profession such as history, geography, sociology, psychology, english literature, economics, etc. I believe you must prepare yourself for the challenges this world gives you. No one will ever help you at your lowest. I believe we should have classroom with air conditioning. We have exams every month and the course is usually of 4-5 months per semester. Completing 2 semesters means you exceeded onto the next year.

They should improve exam time and our college teaching methods is ok ok not too much good but they should replace old teacher to new teacher because of new syllabus they don't know about new syllabus and don't give us permanent study material it's not sufficient

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is accurate and relevant. It is very intriguing even and a quiet interesting. Teaching methods of the faculty is easy going. There could be a little improvement made like making the lectures a bit more interesting so that students dont get bored after a while. The frequency of the exam are apt but during end sems the time gap between one exam and another could be more as mostly there is only one day gap during two exams and it sometimes gets hard to catch up.

MATS form a student perspective

I took admission in BA psychology and didn't have to appear for any entrance exams, usually at graduation level apart from some famous ranked colleges like DU, Christ, etc you don't have to sit for any entrance test. I contacted my department via phone call, the number was available on the newspaper add and got all the needed information. The staff who answers the phone calls are very cooperative. After having all my queries cleared for example what's the course structure, fees, faculty information, authenticity, etc, I decided I will join the college.
