Remarks

I am Studying M.Sc(Microbiology) at MATS UNIVERSITY. This has been the best experience of my academic career so far. Faculty are knowledgeable and well explainable of the core subject they are assigned. Laboratory works or based on hands-on training. During this COVID-19 Crisis, the university never let the student career go in the vein all though the university supported and conducted online exams and classes as well. Classes are regular and infrastructure is well maintained and upgraded day to day. The syllabus is upgraded and covers all the basic and high-level material of the assigned subject. The location is in the main town easy to travel. Placement consultants are there that enhance our skills when required. Placement shell is well and functional in all career perspective domain.

Collages offered placement but I can't join any type of placement. They trained all students for their placement i.e. they perform good in his interview and they got selected. Every year many students selected in different different branches and their poster are shown in campus .

Forensic science department review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has 4 semesters and is divided as follows.. 1st semester has 5 theory and 2 practical (general introduction to forensic science and ciriminology , crime scene management, instrumental analysis in forensic science, forensic biology, and serology ) 2nd sem also has 5 theory subjects and 2 practicals. Meanwhile syllabus for 3rd and 4th semester has not been provided. The teaching method is traditional chalk and talk . The semester has 2 CTS and finals at the end of 6 months .

Remarks:

It is a very good university in Chhattisgarh. As it is a central university, so there are many facilities like a university bus, an International conference, etc. Teachers are very helpful. The University campus is also very good.

MATS form a student perspective

I took admission in BA psychology and didn't have to appear for any entrance exams, usually at graduation level apart from some famous ranked colleges like DU, Christ, etc you don't have to sit for any entrance test. I contacted my department via phone call, the number was available on the newspaper add and got all the needed information. The staff who answers the phone calls are very cooperative. After having all my queries cleared for example what's the course structure, fees, faculty information, authenticity, etc, I decided I will join the college.
