Remarks

The college has the best infrastructure out of all engineering colleges in Mumbai. The college has big ground which most of the other colleges lack. Transportation is easy. The Admission process is very smooth. Just need all the documents and DD/Cheque at the time of admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very good. There is 1 faculty for every 30 students. The college is Autonomous. The faculty is very cooperative and has great knowledge of the subjects. The teaching method is very interactive. They teach not only from your field but give you interdisciplinary knowledge.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 128376 per year

Placement Experience

Core branch students have placements in their 8th sem whereas CS/IT people have their placement interviews in 6th sem. Many good companies such as Amazon, Infosys visit the college. Most 90% of the students who sit for placements get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is comparatively high as compared to other colleges but it is good keeping in mind the good infrastructure and the facilities.

Campus Life

The college has a big ground. There are teams for different sports such as football, cricket, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, etc. The college has many social groups and clubs like NSS, Rotract, etc

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. i got in this college through mht cet and i wanted to go into tcet as it was near to my house and one of the main reason is placement.
