Remarks

Easy admission process. I want to be a counsellor and only MATS University has applied Psychology, so that's why I chose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are well qualified and provide good information. Teaching methods are very much interactive and informative.

Yes, the college offers internship programs in various categories and stipend is included various departments have different requirements for individuals.

The college has a good placement record. Many students to date have been chosen by different industries and groups for employment.

Fees and Financial Aid

Low fee, no hikes yet. I'm not a graduate yet so there has been no placement for me yet.

Campus Life

Matsotsav is the annual fest, organized during January - February every year. The campus is good. Pandri campus lacks a good infrastructure while arrange campus is way too far.

Interview Experience

There was a good discussion about the curriculum and activities related to the academic courses. Department organised separate infotainment for individuals interested in admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The bachelor of arts course provides you various subjects to choose to study for your profession such as history, geography, sociology, psychology, english literature, economics, etc. I believe you must prepare yourself for the challenges this world gives you. No one will ever help you at your lowest. I believe we should have classroom with air conditioning. We have exams every month and the course is usually of 4-5 months per semester. Completing 2 semesters means you exceeded onto the next year.

They should improve exam time and our college teaching methods is ok ok not too much good but they should replace old teacher to new teacher because of new syllabus they don't know about new syllabus and don't give us permanent study material it's not sufficient

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is accurate and relevant. It is very intriguing even and a quiet interesting. Teaching methods of the faculty is easy going. There could be a little improvement made like making the lectures a bit more interesting so that students dont get bored after a while. The frequency of the exam are apt but during end sems the time gap between one exam and another could be more as mostly there is only one day gap during two exams and it sometimes gets hard to catch up.

MATS form a student perspective

I took admission in BA psychology and didn't have to appear for any entrance exams, usually at graduation level apart from some famous ranked colleges like DU, Christ, etc you don't have to sit for any entrance test. I contacted my department via phone call, the number was available on the newspaper add and got all the needed information. The staff who answers the phone calls are very cooperative. After having all my queries cleared for example what's the course structure, fees, faculty information, authenticity, etc, I decided I will join the college. You will have to go to the university campus on your own, just ask at the reception area and you will have all your queries cleared....Read More
