Remarks
I would like to point out that though the college hosted a great environment overall the whole atmosphere was dominated by locals. Students from other cities like myself would feel a little left out.
Entrance Preview
I took AIEEE I was more interested in Maths and Computers instead of Physics,Chemistry and hence opted for BCA over B.Tech.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was divided into 6 Semesters 3 Years. Each semester the course became more advance and focused on Computer Architectures. The Course had 3 Internal Assessments orth 30 Marks and one External Assessment worth Worth 70 Marks in Each Semester. According to the subjects in each semester the External Assessments would also consist of One or More practicals. The Final semester demanded a Project that generally includes a small software made by a Group as a final Assessment.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Genpact and HCL would come in for placements and internships. The internship was more critical to students of Management courses though we would do a project and hence won't be able to get any time to work as an intern due to heavy coding.
College Events
Diwali Night,Annual Sports Meet,Melange (College fest) apart from these there were quite a few fest's but those were more focused for B.Tech students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee's were moderate as our courses concluded with a total 180000 for 3 years. However accommodation was equally expensive thus the total 3 years totaled around 4 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not avail any such scholarship but the college did have a 10,20 and 30% scholarship for students above 80% Marks.
Campus Life
Campus life was pretty relaxed and open minded in a city like Ghaziabad. Though we did had quite a few trouble makers from neighboring villages that would make it a little less sophisticated at times.
Hostel Facilities
The Campus hostel was great for the price option for AC Rooms,GYM,TV Rooms,Game Rooms and a very big Mess equipped with LCD's made the stay pretty comfortable for us. 2 and 3 Seater rooms were the only options though.
Alumni/Alumna
The college still organizes Alumni meets which are a delight. Though I wasn't very fond of the Seniors due to changing Ragging rights at the time. It was a little more tense between batches.
Faculty
We had 3 typed of facility. Highly qualified PH.D HOD,Deans and Senior Professors Post Graduates Junior Professors and T.A's3. Graduates - Lab Assistants and Administration. As all colleges many of the teachers were great while others not so much. Overall it was a 75% Score on the Good side.
