Remarks

This institute is one of the best institutes in Amravati. The faculties here are really good. We can learn a lot from them and here we get a chance to perish our talent. My admission here was through the management and nothing else.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is not so good but the faculty members are actually helpful and updated. I choose this course because admission to this course was at least fees. The faculty-to-student ratio was 1:10. All teaching faculties were M.Tech qualified. Exams were conducted annually.

Class Size: 73Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement is nearly 50%. Most of the students prefer to go for further studies. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, etc recruit from our college, and students from our college got the opportunity to be part of Companies like IOCL and NTPC.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee depends upon your category if you are going through a cap round. But if you are going from the management admission process then you will get a discount. There were all scholarships available for students to avail in this institute.

Campus Life

The campus is really great. In our college, we have the biggest auditorium in Maharashtra. It's really huge with a capacity of 10000 people at once. Also, there is the availability of canteen, library, ground, other grounds, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

Beginning of new journey

The Admission worries were many in the beginning. I wanted to get Admission to Computer Science & Engineering branch only. When I heard about P R Pote Patil College of Engineering & Management, Amravati, I discussed it with my parents and visited the college's website. The application form for admission is available on the college website along with the Fees. The admission schedule is displayed regularly. The eligibility was normal 12 passes with min. 50% and MH-CET entrance non-zero scores. The college follows all regular reservations as per government rules. The admission process is hassle-free with the college. Needy students are supported sometimes by the management. Other branches are also good in the college but as I scored well in the MH CET I took admitted to Computer Science and Engineering Branch.
