Remarks

Infrastructure is good, all the needs are available that is necessary, exams and projects are not so hard, etc. The college Faculties are not so good but it's okay, but students get more than sufficient time for studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science and Engineering course are best in this college in comparison to others, and CS facilities are also best, it is a boy's college. Smart studies are also available along with two labs with good servers. It's easy to pass the semester exams. You have to get 40/100 to pass. 70 marks of End Semester Exam, then 20 marks of sessional (2 sessional but only the best one is considered) and 10 marks for attendance and assignment.

Course Fees: INR 81900 per year

Placement Experience

After the 6th semester, you are eligible for placement from campus or outside placement. The average placement is 3-3.5 lakh per annum. and CSE students get most of the placement. Others get outside placement or go for higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

81900 approx. fees per year. The scholarship also come from the home state government (if eligible). You can take an education loan also. The campus is not so good except CS branch.

Campus Life

It is a very normal and peaceful environment, there is no ragging in College and hostels. Some sports events and parties like the fresher's party were conducted.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University.
