Review of Karunya

Karunya is a really good college teaching ethical values.

The course curriculum is very nicely. made. The curriculum is mainly based on theory rather than being research driven. The curriculum helps every type of students get through engineering easily. Exams are conducted on a regular basis. We had 3 internals and one semester exams each semester.

Each department is having a faculty for arranging internships. Telling about the placements there weren't much placement for core departments especially mechanical. For computer science and all we had good companies like Accenture, tcs etc.

Mindkraft is the only technical and cultural event in our college which can be called as a college fest. The program will be really colorful. There will be autoshows games etc happening all around the campus. There will be food stalls organized all around.

Fee structure is slightly on the expensive side. We had almost 2. 5-3 lakhs per year including our hostel fees. there was an establishment fee of 60000 that has to be paid each year nobody knows why we were needed to pay that amount except that it's fine.

I haven't applied for any scholarship or loan. The college is providing scholarship and loans for those who need it.

Culturals were not quite often done in karunya. College was really prayer centric. Gender ratios were fine. There were lots of international workshops held in the campus. Sports were conducted once jn a year named karunya Evangeline memorial tournament which was a inter college competition.

Yes, our college is a fully residential college and the hostel facilities were really good. We were given choices of food and we were able to choose between single seater and 4 seater rooms. The bathroom facilities were good.

Yes the alumni were really helpful. They really helped in finding good positions outside college and to choose a career.

I got admission to this college by an entrance exam which was conducted on the month of april. I got admitted to btech mechanical engineering. The enrollment was a full day process. First we were shown through the whole campus. To say the ambience of the campus is really beautiful.

The faculties were really knowledgeable and having very good academic credentials. The interacted with the students very nicely. The faculties were having a very good clarity about the subject theoretically and practically. The same theory faculties helped in conducting our lab sessions.
