Remarks

Overall the college is good in coaching and other extra and co curricular activities but in terms of placement the college is not advisable.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

MBA in SNS College of Engineering is full time 2 years course (2 semesters per year). Where in first 2 semesters common paper for all students and they have to choose their specialization in 3rd semester (HR, Finance, Operations, Logistics, Marketing etc, ). In SNS College they offer dual specialization, where the students can choose any 2 specialization. Each semester has 8 papers. As I said before first 2 semesters have common papers. In 3rd semester 2 common papers and 3 core papers based on your specialization. You choose 2 specialization so you have 6 core papers and 2 common papers. And finally 4th semester is full of projects. You have to undergo 6months project in any company and complete your project with the help of project guide. Entire 4th semester marks are depends on your project.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placements in SNSCE is below average because only a 20% students got placed through the college. Others they look after themselves including me. They can't bring placements for HR and finance students. Most importantly they give you a fake or false record of placements in their website.

College Events

4.5

Arthshastra - Leadership Skill - One day - The event is conduct and organize by MBA students. In the event other college students are invited. Presentations(On the spot topic), GD(On the spot topic), Business Games are conducted and finally winner, runner are selected by industry experts. Kalinga - Entrepreneur skill - 2 days - Here, the students are allowed to do business inside the college campus for 2 days or they can bring outside shops. They need to invest and make profit.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Comparing to other colleges, the fees are very low. For MBA they charge 27, 500 INR per semester (Exam fees separate). In this fees structure they'll provide good infrastructure, all grounds for sports, e-class etc. If you get through the Government quota you will receive scholarship based on your community.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college offer many scholarship for students but not for all. If you are a first graduate in a family or if you score state rank or University topper or if your father is no more.

Campus Life

4.5

Overall campus life is really good. 6:4 is a gender ratio of college. There is no gender diversity in college. There is a equal and fair opportunity for all. Clearly unbiased. College offers lots of extracurricular activities within the campus. Swimming pools, gyms, football court, vollyball court, Hockey, Cricket, Badminton, Tennis and all other indoor games. They allow the students to compete with other college or let them play district or state matches.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no ragging in college and hostel. Seniors are very helpful and supportive in all manners. The way they treat us like a brothers let us enjoy the college life more memorable. The college arrange alumni meet every year. And allow juniors to give farewell to seniors.

Admission

My Career aim is to become a HR. That's a reason why I really enjoy doing a MBA HR in full time. My cut off mark that doesn't satisfy the PSGIM or other higher level colleges required cut off. That's why I pushed to choose this college. Process: I. Written the TANCET entrance exam conducted by anna University. Exam dates, Hall ticket details are available in their website annauniv.edu. II. Got 40. 66 marks (Nominal) in TANCET and selected SNS College of Engineering in counseling. III. After councelling got the allotment letter from anna University and joined the SNS College of Engineering.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty in SNSCE are very friendly and well experienced. Most of the staffs completed PHD and having a good experience. What they lack is industry knowledge. They struggle to bring the visionary of industry while lecturing. But they bring many industry specialist for guest lecture. They never fails to conduct guest lecture once in a two weeks.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are decent, especially when one talks about its authenticity and compares it to a lot of colleges in the country. We are associated with some good names like EY, Asian Paints, SBI, Vedanta, etc. The mean and median hover around 8.5 - 9.5 LPA mark. Last Highest: 15 LPA and Lowest: 5.5 - 6lpa. Roles offered may not be the best, but they are decent too.
