Remarks

College management does not believe in spending money on festivals or placements. If they can then things can be better on that side. As such management is strict but also co-operative.

Entrance Preview

Exam: UPTU Rank: 1279 and in girls something around 110 I took this college as in UPTU it is the best college. I was getting government colleges also but as it has better facilities and located in NCR so better campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

There were no electives as such. Courses were predetermined. Like Graphics, Data mining, Advanced Computer Architecture, Mobile communication, Data base, Software engineering.

Internships Opportunities

There was no stipend as we have internship of only 2 months. One of the faculty helped us to call a startup related to six sigma to provide internship to some of her students. I got the chance and learned alot in those days. It was very good We had to work from college only, We used to have weekly meetings with the founders. Overall a good and learning experience.

Placement Experience

4

Very good, Being in NCR and having such a reputed college lots of companies come there. When I was there in 2010 around 20 companies came and in 2011 round 18. Even core companies also come however they take only 1-2 students. Most of the students get placements. Some companies are: Infosys, Samsung, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Birla Soft, etc.

College Events

4

There are lots of events, Cultural and Technical as well. There is one cultural fest every year and one technical fest as well. There are lots of societies also in college also which organise lots of events like robotics, programming contests, games, Debates, GDs, Cultural events, workshops, Tech talks etc.Technical and cultural festivals are not that big only UPTU colleges from near by area comes and no celebrities or any thing as such.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is medium. Like hostel and mess fees is low in compare to other colleges. College fees is also low in compare to other private colleges. Also there are some scholarships.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are some scholarships given according to government rules.I dont remember exactly the criteria.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini are connected to each other and to seniors on basis of personal relations only. As such there is no platform from where you can connect to. But yes if we get to know that some body is from same college or some senor gets to know about us everybody is helping. Alumnus are doing good and always ready to help each other.

Exam Structure

Well exam structure keeps on changing. In our 1st year we used to have monday sessional. On every Monday there is one sessional. But then we started having 3 day sessionals. total 3 sessional and 1 semester exam.5 subjects each labs are like weekly. Things are not that hectic.

Faculty

4

Faculty of computer Science was good at our time. Some of the teachers were really great. Specially Maths HOD, CS HOD and Our data structure and java faculty. There people were motivating helping and as well as gave practical aspect of subjects. Also they helped alot with interns and projects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
