Remarks

The college environment is student friendly and dynamic in nature always motivating. They make sure that students difficulties and concerns are solved. To a certain extent favouritism does take place in college but manageable.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is well groomed we have active Case discussion, presentations and live scenario discussion which enable us to have a holistic approach towards management studies the exam pattern is up to the Industry requirement where our intellect is examined and not only memory. We have 6 trimester course over a period of 2 years. We are also delegated one faculty each for our thesis project.

College Events

5

It is a student driven campus with more than 15 committees and 6 clubs. There are plethora of festivals every month by each committee. Committee are assigned by management acumen eg Humanist committee for HR people and so forth different committees for marketing, operations and finance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is hiked by 10% every year. My fee was 14 lacks excluding hostel with hostel it is 17 lacks which is very expensive compared to the ROI the mode of payment is through bank transfer only not through hard cash. The college doesnot take any form of donations from student admission is on merit basis only.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship is provided to an student as it is a private college though there is certain deduction in fees for people who are from EWS of society but not many are admitted to the college.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is vibrant but the gender ratio is not good the girls to boy ratio is 1:4. There profile of students are diverse in nature still engineers being the major Chunk as our college had quota for Gujarati minority people most of them come from that community. A lot of extravagant events happen around the corner we have talent hunt where ppl showcase their talent and sports meet, debate competition.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

No as I stay near to college did not take hostel facility. Though have known the hostel facilities from friends it is well sanitised and hygienic. The food mess is nutritious and clean only veg food allowed in campus. The other facilities like gym, playing area is well maintained.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes our alumni are helpful. We have a program called Alchemy in which every student gets Mentor from industry who is in top position who will guide us.

Admission

For getting admission in this college one should give CAT/CMAT/XAT clear the college cutoff There will be a shortlist for case discussion and personal interview After completion of this process a merit list is removed and according to your rank we get our preferred course. I choose this institution because it is one of the finest B-School in Mumbai. The PGDM course I am pursuing is highly recommend and they have good placements as their placement record is quite versatile over the years I also choose this institution because of their academic rigour and fine curriculum design. The company’s I aspire to work in comes in this campus so this was a major factor for me taking this institution.

Faculty

4

There is no void for lectures and adequate amount for each course and subject avg age is 37-45. They come with diverse industry rich experienced and are PhD holders in their domain. They actively help us in our research projects and built the skill sets required for professional world. Per subject at least 10 faculties are there in campus.

Placement Experience:

1) students become eligible for placements just after they complete their second semester examinations 2) only local companies visited to our colleges such as per Pooja, weblink services etc which were very small scale local organisations offering very poor packages to the students 3) the average package that my batch got was 2.lakhs per annum and the highest was 6 lpa where before admission the college claimed the average packages to be 6lpa and Highest to be above 10lpa 4) the percentage of students getting placed is not more than 10-15% 5)my plans after getting the degree is to look for better companies outside my college because my college hasn't been helpful in terms of placements in any manner .

I had already completed my chartered accountancy course and wanted to add an additional degree to my qualifications.MBA graduate can avail many career opportunities as well in future. So I wanted to pursue it via distance learning. That is why I chose Symbiosis,it provided me flexibility to choose exam days and slots on my own so I never felt exam pressure and appeared for exams when I was thorough with my syllabus. This is what I love about Symbiosis.

My MBA program was one of the finest programs offered by our institute at such an economical price. We got to visit many MNCs during our corporate visits and interacted with different people. Our college believes in the celebration of life and almost all the festivals are celebrated with utmost joy. All of our labs were digitized and had all the advanced tools for an advanced learning experience.
