Remarks

Overall my college is a place where i experienced many things faced many problems, learned how to solve those problems, met many poeple. Faced hardship with some teachers but this experience made me so strong to face the outside world. So all the work we did at our college all the problems we had in turn made me more stronger. So i would say that the management of college is really good. Its how it has to be.

Entrance Preview

I took CET I decided to choose this particular stream because from the beginning i just wanted go for engineering and so the most appropriate option for me was CET. Since IIT JEE requires a whole one year preparation CET at that point was the most appropriate choice.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum was totally a theoretical one. This is the reason why engineers lack practical knowledge. Some practical courses must've been included.

Internships Opportunities

Rarely any companies came to our college for internship. So the students who were interested in the internship used to opt for unorthodox internships like I did 5 internships in my whole curriculum without affecting my overall aggregate.

Placement Experience

4

Placements and job opportunities are the backbone of our college. Almost 80% of our college students gets placed before the Degree. L&T,Seclore,Infosys,Accenture, CapGemini are the major recruiters. The package which they gave were in the range of 3-5 lacs per annum. I got placed in L&T.

College Events

4

Our technical and cultural festivals are being performed on the huge level. Spandan is our cultural festivals and Transmission is our Technical Festival. Both of these fest occur in the late January of every year and they are always a huge success. There are students form 180+ colleges participating in both the fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Compared to the government colleges our fees is comparably high. But if you go to compare it with other fellow private college then the fee structure is properly priced. Although there are some concessions for EBC.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah there some great scholarship and loan facilities but i won't discuss them since i don't have a good idea about as i haven't availed one.

Campus Life

3.5

When it comes to participation our college students are ver energetic. The gender ratio is also 1:1. Girls and Boys of different streams participate together and enjoys the event. Since it is an engineering college every month there's at least one workshop. Our college students work with AISEC and IEEE. We have many AISECers and IEEE students in our college and when it comes to politics or discrimination or bullying, our college is far away form such activities. The students of our college are very united.

Hostel Facilities

3

Our college doesn't provide us with hostel facilities so i am pretty unaware about the hostel life. But the canteen doesn't meet up my expectation. Very limited number of options and the canteen is really small as compared to the number of students our college has. The canteen is the only disappointment. But to be honest despite of being a very small one with less number of options in the menu the cleanliness is maintained.

Alumni/Alumna

Though our seniors left the college and are busy with their jobs but still if we call them for some management or for academic help they are always ready and help us with the proper advice. So even though they passed out from our college they are still in touch. Thanks to social networks.

Exam Structure

Being form an engineering college the Exams and labs is the most hectic part of the schedule. The practicals are being performed on daily basis and exams are on montly basis.

Faculty

4.5

There are total 3 departments in our college i.e. IT, computer and EXTC. The IT department is quite lenient and possesses an ' i don't care' attitude for the students. The computer faculty is the moderate one. Out of the three the EXTC department is the most stringent department. They leave no mercy on students but in turn it helps us to prosper well.

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
