Missing College in Quarantine

As a student, I feel there are alot of restrictions, we can't even bunk classes. But when we interact with our alumni we know that all of it is done for our good itself. To make us a wise and disciplined in our lives. Our College also let us enjoy the college life and even gives us life lessons.

My College is known for its discipline, Academics and never stays behind in co curricular activities as well. My college comes under the Nagpur University, yes it's not an autonomous College but soon it is going to be autonomous. My College provides every single material which any Best college may provide, hence I call my College the best. My college has a great quality of on campus placement.All the good companies approach our College because they groom all the students equally for all the opportunities. Each Semester our College let us visit 2 industries, if possible. Industry based seminar also been provided to us.

100% placement guarantee it says, and yes it does happen. I am lucky to be in this college. Company like L&T, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc. Visits our college every year. The general steps of recruitment are, 1) Aptitude Examination 2) Technical Interview / Group Discussions 3) Personal Interview 4) HR interview . My College has a separate Training and Placement department and they leave no student hanging for placement.

Technical Events : 1) TECHNEX - National Annual Technical event. It is ranked 9th all over India. (January) 2) Each Department host a Technical event each year. (August or September) . Culture Events : 1) INSIGHT - Annual Cultural fest. Intercollegiate event. 2) Holistic Department organises such events oftenly. Management Event : The Entrepreneurship Development cell hosts few events.

For me, it's Feasible. My College is transparent in every case. My college accepts all the modes of payment, from demand draft to paytm. Being an OBC caste student, I pay half of the fees that is approximately Rs. 58,000 per year and government pays the rest. (CASTE DISCRIMINATION, I know.)

I did not opt for any scholarship or Education loan. The only Scholarship we get is from the Government under MahaDBT.

The Gender ratio is almost 1:1, I feel there are more females than males. There are no such parties allowed in the campus. There are availablity of various workshops and also Guest seminars in my campus. My College is highly Cultural, we respect and support every Religion. There is also an Anti - Ragging Cell in our college which makes our college even Safer. My Campus life is been amazing so far and I can't wait to look forward what challenges it brings to us, even though when I graduate I am really gonna miss the College and every staff member whose been there. I found great people here.

Every time I interact with my seniors, it gives me a new direction of thinking. They not only tell their great adventurous stories but also guide you from FAILURE, They tell us what ' not to do' ahead, and they also motivate us and sometimes we motivate them. It's all beautifully done.

I, being an average student belonging to a middle class family had to go through the CAP rounds, waiting for my turn to opt for the college I want. In this process there are several stages. verification process and all. I looked up for this college and turns out this was a disciplined college and I willingly wanted to go here. This was a tough procedure but it's for the best I feel.

Our Faculties are well experienced and qualified. They give us subject based and life based advices as required. They never turn down any doubt of any student. They motivate us to do better each time we fail by ourselves. They guide us properly. There are faculties of age between 25-50+. Few of the alumni has joined college as a faculty for the love of the subject. Most of our faculties do have industry knowledge and they intend to share it with us.
