Remarks

As this college is 2nd best college for vocational studies in Ranchi, so I opted for this college. Also the course fee is feasible and my parents could afford it. I was not good at studies and could not make it to other big institutions.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is pretty much outdated. Also no semester based system was started at our time. The course follow the same subjects that are 15 or 20 years old. No industrial exposure or any major project work. Some teachers were good but most are same govt. college styled lazy teachers.

College Events

My college has one of the best infrastructures in Vadodara. My college has a beautiful garden, a small fountain, different arts, and sculptors. etc. We have a cricket ground and a soccer field. My college also provided indoor sports facilities like chess, carrom, table tennis. etc. We have a volleyball court and a badminton court. Free wifi service available after the registration process. The quality of the food is good at the cafeteria. We have a small canteen for special guests.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is good. The main building looks beautiful. There is a big field for sports, no wifi and a normal sized library that can accomodate about 50 students at once. Lab is great. There is about 50 computers. The physics and chemistry labs are big.

Hostel Facilities

The quality of placements is average at our college. Most of the companies mainly offered job roles to computer science students. Very few companies came for mechanical and electrical engineers. The highest salary package was around 8 lakh per annum which was offered by TCS. Kyb Conmat, Linde, Inoxcva, TCS, Gsfc, Byju's. etc are regular recruiters at our campus. Our placement department doing very good work for final year placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

CIA1 and CIA2 before sem exams. coarse itself is pretty good and syllabus is related to NTA. Firstyear is basic stuff but real world applicant studies is seen in second and third year which is deemed more interesting by the seniors. Less projects and assignments and more research would probably be more beneficial

Being a BSC MATHS HONOURS student, I want to say that teachers are too good and much more supportive of mathematics. You have to apply online for admission to this college after that a list will be revealed by the college where you can see you are eligible or not. You should have at least 50% in the overall top 5 subjects in the 12th exam. The minimum marks for the honors paper is 50 marks at least. You will have to submit your T. Experience and About of Gossner College Ranchi

1)I did apply in two college * St Xavier's College Ranchi but my admission process does not become due to the high cutoff rate * GESSNER College Ranchi in which my admission is becomes complete 2) yes I am belonging from OBC but this certificate is not needed me because cutoff rate was Normal 3) Percentage criteria for admission is minimum percentage needed 55% * No minimum age criteria in admission Only one criterion is 12th pass-out from maths 4) Admission process is normal like as other colleges *Fill the form online from the college website and full fill in the needed information in the section after the merit list will be out from the college *Due to covid 19 counseling was not becomes possible so I have no idea about counseling But which type of document is needed mentioned below > 12th certificate 12Marks sheet Caste income and residential certificate CLC etc....Read More
