Remarks

The college is one of the best in the country, all in all its awesome you'd love it

Entrance Preview

JEE, 182 and the reason i joined was because it is in Delhi and one of the elite colleges. The opportunities are very high and the growth tremendous as a person

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The college provides 5 subjects every semester 4 related to your subject and 1 related to humanities and in 4th year we have electives.

Internships Opportunities

About 160 companies visit our college in first placement semester and provide an average stipend of about 20kk, companies including big four , Google, Microsoft

Placement Experience

It is ranked number one in placements in the country with a100%placement with an average package of about 5 lakhs. All the companies including tata maruti hero all come for placement

College Events

4.5

We have one technical week along with a cultural festival wit which is a three day festival which takes place in February or March and attracts a15k foot fall

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college has a fees of about 75k which is lesser than iits so it's feasible and the college provides scholarships which is a good option. The scholarships range from 30%-100%

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are available from different bank and the college also provides different scholarships for under privileged students

Campus Life

3.5

The college has an awesome environment with a low girl boy ratio but the societies and the different teams make your life worth to love but sometimes it gets to hectic and affects your academic performance

Hostel Facilities

The hostel seats are few and the hostel free minimal. Although the quality of hostel is not that good the mess food is not upto the mark

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors at dtu are very good and don't indulge in raging but the alumni network is a little less effective but still it is good we have a alumni meet every year

Exam Structure

We have a two semester system with exams at the end of each semester, along with them each semester has a mid semester exam and internals which are light

Faculty

The faculty is one of the best in the country as college is positioned at 9 in all engineering colleges

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.
