Entrance Preview

I took PGCET which is particularly for Masters and for VTU University. I scored a CGPA of 9 and I opted this college as this is one of top 10 colleges in Karnataka. The placements are very good and even faculty is helpful and really good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was good and they tried to teach us all the basics and tried to give us knowledge which would help us when we would be placed. When i got placed in the company the knowledge. I had received made sense to me and i knew where i could use the knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

Lots of companies came and the stipend started from 20000 - 5000. To name few companies, we had fiedelity, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Thoughtworks, Oracle, google, Informatica and so on.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities are plenty and they make sure that atleast 85 - 90 % students are placed. The offer starts from 10 L to 4 L .

College Events

We have different culture events from different departments. To name few, every year we have Technieks and few other fests from Mech department and IS,CS and MCA to.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure seems to feasible. MCA is a 3 years course and VTU has a fees of 50000 Rs and the college fees would be around 5000 Rs. So the fees seems to feasible enough.

Fees and Financial Aid

For students following under categories do get a scholarship. However, there is loan facility from the college.

Alumni/Alumna

We do get frequent emails from the college alumni group providing us updates about the college and even asking us feedback as how they can improve the college culture and curriculum better. They even ask us if the curriculum for that particular seems to better and needs to be improved.

Exam Structure

The exams are not that hectic. However, you will be scored for each lab you attend. Which will cumulated in the end with you exam score. There were 2 internals whose marks would be a added with the Final exam score.

Faculty

The faculty was really helpful and had good knowledge of the subject they taught us. They were always there to help us with any subject related questions.

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
