Remarks

The College focus on education strictly but they doesn't focus much on extra curricular activities. And apart from the academic the college life is not worth it. There is nothing to enjoy and the strict rules of the college sucks. And they still believe in maintaining a distance between girls and boys even at EDM night boys and girls have to enjoy separately. And the hostel in time for boys is 7:30 PM so basically you can't have a good college life in there.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The VIT BHOPAL UNIVERSITY focused on education very strictly and the curriculum that they provide is very good and the teaching staff is also good except for some faculty. The university works on FFCS - which means it provides students the opportunity to choose the timing on which they want to attend the college and also they can choose the faculty from whomsoever they want to study. The placement training of the university is very strict and very useful for those who are focusing on placement from campus. There are many industrial visits that the College organize so that students can see the real life scenario and can learn to deal with it.

Placement Experience

4

The university focuses strictly on placement for the students. They provide will all the important classes for both logical and technical parts and there is a continuous placement test that helps students to analyze them. Regarding internship, the placement cell sends all the internship update via mail on regular basis.

College Events

1.5

VIT BHOPAL conducts the technical and cultural fest in the month of March. There are lots and lots of events that are being held in those days. Apart from this the college celebrate all the festivals of India and the frequency of having an event is quite low as there are only 1 or 2 events in a month except for the month of March.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the university depends on your rank. In which category you lie in when you opt for the course. For core branch, the fee structure goes from 2, 00, 000 to 4, 00, 000 approx. The mode of payment they accept are bank transfer, NEFT, or cheque. The College provides all the fee details on your account that is provided but the university over there you can see all the fee details.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarship to students according to the ranks they get in the entrance exam of the university. The eligibility criteria is that you have to get your VITEE rank below 1, 000 to be eligible for scholarships.

Campus Life

2

The campus life is not good the rules of the college are very strict and it hardly allows students to enjoy their college life as compared to other colleges. The gender ratio is 4:1 I think its pretty good as compared to other colleges but again it doesn't matter because the college rules suck. There is a vast diversity that you can see around in the campus students from all parts of India comes in there. Rest all are not so good in short I would say they were not worth it.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes I stayed in the boys hostel, the rooms have bunk bed and there are 2 sharing rooms, 3 sharing rooms, 4 Sharing rooms and 6 sharing room that are allocated on the basis of your CGPA and attendance. I don't know anything about PG but you can stay outside of the campus also.

Alumni/Alumna

We are the first batch in this campus so can't say about this part. The VIT BHOPAL CAMPUS was established in 2017.

Admission

I had already decided that I will do B-Tech after my high school so I started preparing for IIT-JEE and when I was filling the form of the entrance exam, my seniors suggested me to fill the form of VIT university also. Unfortunately, I didn't score well to get admission in any NIT or IIT'S so I decided to go to VIT. The admission process of VIT is done before JEE - ADVANCE examination. According to your rank, the College gives you a date on which you have to go to any one out of the 4 VIT Campuses over there you have to choose your branch and campus. And after choosing it you have to pay the advance tution fee to book your seat.

Faculty

4

The university has 100% of doctorate faculty ( as they claim) although there are few non doctorate faculty also but overall the faculty are supportive and helpful some of them are rude but every college have someone like that so if I have to rate them out of 10 I will give them 7. Most of the faculty are on their 30's or 40's they are not too old.

At LNCT students become eligible for engineering placements in the final year. Like after 3rd year, meaningful intenrships are provided and most students get PPO through that. For those fail to do so, our college invites a lot of companies which gives us core placements.

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.
