Course Curriculum Overview

Course and exam are based on Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). they strictly follow the rules and regulations regarding any exam. exams will be for every semester ( after 6 months) twice in a year. they have all the syllabus and study topics are related to the organization are based on vtu.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

placement is also good. i mean to say if you do well and attend all the campus interviews then you will surely get something. for computer science (mostly technical support jobs will be there ).

College Events

Annual function (college day ) graduation day freshers day ethnic day etc others national conference technical fest. in the year 2016 they have conducted the technical fest in we all have participated in AIEEE associated projects in that seminar with a honored certificate for participation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

it was 325000. 1st year:- 125000 2nd year:- 100000 3rd year:- 100000 4th year:- 100000 It's completely feasible but you will not get a proper breakup except a money receipt. there is no extra fees/charges except if you don't have your minimum attendance criteria.

Campus Life

no, there is no gender problem and i feel as full equality for any gender. even students from outside India are taking part in this college ( Nepal, Saudi etc) debates Quiz and other entertaining games use to happen for proper entertainment of the students.

Hostel Facilities

no, i have not opted for any hostel facilities but i know few of my friends who were there in the hostel and its pretty good with sharing rooms and cafeteria for the hostel students. the canteen food was good.

Alumni/Alumna

yes, for me most of the seniors are useful all the way. studies as well as extra activities. you can take help from anyone as mostly all the students are from good backgrounds and very decent.

Admission

Its a direct Process, once you go and talk to Executive and you are done. they will give you form to fill and other admissions document formalities. they might do everything in one day if you have all the documents with full interest else they will call you the next day.

Faculty

Almost 8-10, we are not aware of all the faculties background.but their teaching pattern and knowledge is really great. and I personally know some of the teachers with PhD degree in the respective domains. All the faculties are well educated and highly professional.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

Placement Experience:

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
