Anonymous's Review On Vidyavardhaka College Of Engineering - [VVCE], Mysore

I had applied to g triple s previously but I didn't wanted to go there because I didn't think my personality development would happen there due to absence of co-education I always wanted a co-education because the bond we create in group projects involving boys and girls is very different we share opinions, ideas and we get to know many ideas which we wouldn't have thought before. I wanted to build my personality as I am an introvert so when I joined this college I have improved a lot I have started speaking more we do a lot of group projects and we graded at the end of a semester. We have a great learning environmental at VVCE. Here the admission is very good going now all the seats have been filled as there is a majority for IT branches as people Buzz around it very much these days we have three sections in ECE and 5 to 6 sections in CSE and three sections in artificial intelligence and machine learning. For it branches it is about strengthening there core skills like data structures oops with Java programming etc For core branches we have subjects like analogue circuits digital electronics and network analysis to build our basics. To admit into this college there are multiple ways the one through which I entered was the kcet examination which is conducted by kea Karnataka examination authority you have to write the kcet exam and after which you will be allotted a rank different colleges have different cut off and you can check out the cutoff in the ke a website you just have to get a rank according to the cut off chart based on which college you want . You can also write the comed k examination and get a rank according to the colleges cutoff chart the other option is through management seats which is if you don't get a good rank in the other two options you have to admit through this one....Read More

I had applied to around 4 colleges other than vvce 1. BMNIT (in bangalore) -- Although i initially liked this college and also got confirmed admission after registering in the college, i felt like the management fees were a bit too high for aiml which was 8 laks per year for four years which is a lot. 2. ATME (mysore) - This was my second option to go in mysore, the college and infrastructure was good but the placements were not too good and the locaation is too far away from the city centre. 3. VVIT (mysore) - I had enquired in this college but didnt like it too much because of the campus and the maanagement was not co-operative Overall i felt like VVCE was the best option considereing it was close to my home and also has strong reputation in mysore for being one of the top with decent placements and i also wanted to go through my comedk rankings and vvce was the best option according to my rank. The admission process for me was simple, once i was alloted this college in comedk, i had to pay a part of the fees and lock it and then go phyically to the college with the required documents and complete the regestration and pay the reamining fees. When I thought to do MBA in my graduation days I choose mainly VVCE college only , because compared to other colleges here fees wise, study wise, benifits wise ,and placement wise it's very good, and college location also it's situated main area so it's very useful and getting everything nearby only and for traveling also it's easy for everywhere from mysore . Actually I accidentally got admitted to this college. I was not aware of VVCE at first. First I and my father went NIE north campus and their the seats were filled so then we came here for management quota as i CET result was not up to the mark. The admission procedure is not that much difficult here in VVCE. Starting from application filling to fee payment, everything goes with ease. At that time , there was no donation for my course ( ECE) so I opted it and didn't want to go IT courses. They ask for some xerox documents and some original documents as well at the time of admission. Totally the experience was very clean and good....Read More

The college tution fee is low and economical compared to other colleges in Mysore and they provide placement opportunities and skill development trainings course related extra training and it is near to government hostel....Read More
