The college management is at times very strict and but it is very effective in the long run.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course curriculum is very flexible. Apart from the core subjects according to your stream, you can choose all other subjects according to your choice. Also, you can choose the timing of the class and the faculty of the class. You will get opportunities for Industrial Visit every semester and you will be part of very good projects if you're willing to. The teaching techniques are very research-driven. The institute gives priority to research work and also encourages you to publish your research paper in an established journal.
Placement Experience
The college holds an impeccable placement record. Almost 80-85 percent of the people get placed every year and the average package of the offers is around 5 lakhs. There are hundreds of companies who visit for Placements but I am naming a few of them. Bajaj Honda Maruti Suzuki Hitachi Amazon Flipkart Oyo Deloitte PWC KPMG etc.
College Events
There are 2 main fests organized in our college every year. The technical fest (graVITas) is organized around October and it is a 3-day long fest with hundreds of different events going on. The second is the Cultural fest (Riviera) which is organized around February and it's a 4-day long fest with hundreds of different events going on. The main attraction of Riviera is the Pro show which happens in the evening of all 4 days.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible if you have a good rank in the VITEEE exam, preferably within 20,000. The fee goes on increasing with rank depending on your rank. The college fees can vary from 1,85,000 to 4,50,000 depending on your rank in VITEEE. The hostel fees are the same for all the students
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not opted for any loan. But I had got a scholarship of 25000 rs. Per year for four years because my rank was below 20000 in VITEEE. That scholarship is no longer available. It was available at my time of joining.
Campus Life
Campus life is very good. The campus is very clean and well maintained. There are different clubs and chapters for every hobby or passion you have. There are sports competitions and events happening every now and then. There is a very large range of student diversity because you will find people of every ethnicity and every background from every part of the world here.
Hostel Facilities
Yes. There are many rooms you can opt for hostel. There single bed sharing, double bed sharing, triple bed sharing, 4 bed sharing and 6 bed sharing rooms. All the rooms are available in ac and non AC. The prices depends on your room with single bed AC being the most expensive and 6 sharing bed non AC being the least. There are 3 types of messes Veg mess, Non veg mess and special mess.
Alumni/Alumna
They are very helpful but it mainly depends on the person. You cannot classify them as a group and talk about them.
Admission
There was an entrance exam (VITEEE) in the first week of February which had basic questions of Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology (4 sections). You have to do a maximum of 3 out of sections in that test. Then, the results of that test will be declared around May. And the process of Counselling will be started in June. You will be called for counselling and based on your rank, you will choose your stream. Finally, joining will be around the First week of July.
Faculty
There are premiere faculties of all the fields in our College. Probably, the best faculty you will find in any private college in the country. The average age of the faculties would be around 43-45 years. The minimum qualification requirement of faculties is Post graduation. So, all the faculties have prior experience.
