Entrance Preview

GUJCET for gujarat in april-2006, it is done after 12th science. Subjects to be taken in 11th, 12th science are physics, maths and chemistry.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is extensively based on guidelines by aicte, so it is completely in line with the curriculam of global level education with state of the art technology.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like l&t, and local area companies came for internship, also done seminar for indian navy. But generaly studnets can not depend on campus placement as there are not more chances for it.

Placement Experience

Placements are not that much good but a student gets good knowledge that will be able him to get the job, studnets has to get the job on his own efforts.

Yearly state level technical eventts and also cultural activities like youth festivals are celebrated, sports week is biggest attraction for alla students.

Fee structure is so simple that it will not cost more than 5000 rupees including hostel fees as it is government college. Also there is facility for library which takes nominle charge for registration, taking books are free for all four years.

Over all campus is nice to study, gender ratio is also quite good, cultural activities are also done by time to time, it is also good platform for extra curriculam activties.

Faculty members are so intelligent and humble, covering all subjects completely and very humble, they are having good and deep knowldge of the subjets.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know , college learning is not only about textbooks, and real world knowledge is equally important. in this area, the college supports student well by giving exposure to practical learning . the course includes industry related topics, and teachers also try to explain how concepts are used in real life. the curriculum is helpful, but adding more modern tools, software and hands on projects would make it even better. Overall, the syllabus prepares student for future jobs and higher studies, while still leaving some room for improvement.

Placement Experience:

the placement at vgec at decent, especially considering it is a government college with very low fees. student become eligible for campus placement from the 6 th and the main placement drives begin in the 7 th and 8 th semesters. many well known compnies visit the camppus every tear for software , core engineering and management roles. compnies like TCS, infosys, wipro , taat consultancy, adani, gsfc,and a few stertup hire students from different branches. the number of offers varies every year , but the overall trend is improving . some companies offer multiple job roles such as software engineer , QA engineering , embendede engineering , trainee engineering and analyst position . higher pacage is 5 lacks. after completing my degree , i plan to focus on improving my technical skills .

Decent college with room to grow

Placement Experience:

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester.The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree,wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also,beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects,they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.
