Remarks

Government college reputation, decent placement, central library, infrastructure, top level crowd, faculties, big campus, located in nearby city, less fee that is only 30k per sem, 4th ranked in MP after GSITS, DAVV and JEC.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is outdated and topics taught are mostly irrelevant with no practical exposure. Faculties are mostly temporary and permanent faculties are mostly enjoying free salary by passing down their responsibilities to temporary facilities.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

Mostly placement takes place in TCS and Infosys. The average package is 3.5 lks. But in 2019 TCS also took some students at a package of 7 lks per annum. Students can also opt for open campus in companies like Musigma, persistent which are recruiting in nearby college named LNCT.

College Events

Technical fest like Hackathon takes place. For extracurricular activities there are cultural fest( Antaragni) and sports fest ( Mahasangram ) held annually. Also DJ nights are held time to time for entertainment. To motivate students TEDx show is also organised where well known alumni and people are invited.

Campus Life

Central library is there. But sports complex and auditorium development is still in progress and will take couple of years. Although 1st year classes are now redesigned and now having AC and smart classes to provide better learning experience to students. But still instruments in lab and workshop are outdated.

Average placements, Good infrastructure and Good placements

Placement Experience:

I think for 7th and 8th semister students are eligible for the campus placements. The companies like tcs, Amazon, Capgemini, D mart and etc and some other companies. The highest package is about 8 lacs and the lowest package around 2 lacs. The good number of students are placed in the college and like 20 to 40 percentage students have placed in college placements. After getting this degree I will try for a job or I will go for master's.

Life at OIST, Bhopal

Placement Experience:

In our college, placements take place in the final year of the course. By 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. The placement opportunities are quite decent, an average package consists of 5 - 6 LPA every year. Several companies visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cisco, etc. Now, startups also started to visit for placements. Highest package has been 72 LPA, and every year in off campus as well, many students achieve high package like 8 - 12 LPA. Nearly 70% of students gets placed, also some students has other plans for their future. About me, I think of going for placements in my final year for which I have started preparation.

Excellent college and unbeatable placement

Placement Experience:

After 10th semester the student are available for campus placement Cap Gemini kpit Amazon apple and Google and many other companies are visited in my call is the average package of my college is 6 lakh and the highest package of my colleges 50 lakh about 17% students are getting of placement plan in the student a job is in the Google company average salary from reviews include that the average salary can be low despite Google placement are management of few reviews point out that the management is not always a student focused and from spectrum of the colleges operations could be improved college provider placement as compared to other colleges but college management are not good our very helpful for our students our colleges are very good and and facilities of placement but our colleges are not available in pure water in and drink not available in not available drinking water

My journey through Engineering and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.

UIY RGPV - A take or leave situation

Admission process follows standard procedure of giving JEE after 12th class and clearing JEE mains. Each department has its cutoff which usually ranges from 100 to 180 narks in jee.
