Remarks

I chose this college because of its good reputation, placement opportunities, the infrastructure, and the quality of faculty. It's considered to be one of the top colleges in IP University, and the only college that has an AC in every classroom.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is not updated at all. We are being taught some technologies that have been deprecated about 10-15 years ago. The college didn't provide any sort of industrial exposure. The faculties have high degrees like M.Tech and Ph.D. but their way of teaching is definitely not good. There is one faculty whom I liked the most. His name is Abhishek Gagneja. His way of teaching and the knowledge about the subject is excellent.

Internships Opportunities

I did an internship at DRDO. It was an off-campus internship. I wasn't provided any stipend as is usually the case with DRDO. I applied for the internship on their website. The college didn't play any role in this.

Placement Experience

It is considered one of the best colleges in IP University in terms of placements. Around 40-45 companies visited the campus for placements and more than 90% students got placed in my batch. Some of the companies that visited are: Amazon, Adobe, FreeCharge, TCS, WIpro, IBM, Infosys, Aspiring MInds, etc. The average package offered is 3.5 to 4LPA.

College Events

The campus life is good. There are a lot of societies in the college which you can be a member of. These societies host a ton of events. The cultural fest is held once in 2 years while the tech fest is held every year. The fest is not big compared to government colleges like IIts, DTU, NSIT, etc.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of my college is among the best in the IP university. All classrooms have ACs. Wi-Fi is there but the signal strength is not good at some places in the campus. Sports facilities are average. Library is about two times smaller than what it should have been. The labs are fully equipped.

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

My seniors got placed in the 7th semester and a few in the 6th as well. As per them, the placements are the best compared to all other IPU Colleges. Offers from abroad are too given here. Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, average package goes from 5lpa to 10lpa. Highest it has went 84lpa in Amazon so far and can for sure grow in future. 7th semester students become eligible for placement drives and companies like amazon, microsoft, newgen, tcs, ibm, etc are major recruiters here. Around 80% students do get placed but you can definitely be among them by refining your skills and maintaining a good cgpa. I plan to go for off campus placements as well as I'm interested in AI related roles but hoping for even better.

DTU , fun college life , good placements and endless joy

Placement Experience:

The placements are fantastic , many companies like google amazon and FAANG companies come here . Although i cant compare it with top IIT s but still a 25 lakh per annum package in CSE is still remarkable. The placement cell is often influenced by Placement coordinator but then DTU takes action against them and debar them from placements . If one does not get placement in DTU. , the DTU tag will obviously be more than useful in after course placements

BVCOE, Delhi : Is not still the top colleges of IP affiliated colleges

In the Year 2019, I gave the JEE MAIN [Joint Entrance Examination-Main] having the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths and we were informed by the concerned authorites that the selection in a Indraprasth University College and affiliated colleges will also happen by the marks gained in JEE-Main. We applied in the admission procedure in IPU and provided a minimal fees for the process. After that, there were 3 rounds of selection in which we chose which college in IPU we need and which stream. Then the result of each round came and a student can choose whether to apply for next round or is satisfied with the seat gained in previous round.
