Entrance Preview

I did my Diploma after 10th which was 3 years course in swami Vivekananda college and after that 3 year .Degree from SPCE (Direct 2nd year Entry after Diploma) so instead of doing 10+2+4 i did 10 + 3 +3 as i wanted to go in Enggineering and take it as career.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Bachelor of Electronic is a wonderful course and there are good job opportunities after. During the Course one have to strive hard to ensure one gets first class and avoid AT-KT as during the job it will give you more chances of landing the opportunity in shorter time .

Internships Opportunities

There was no college internship as it is a full time course in Diploma college which was done in swami Vivekananda diploma college. There was no college internship as it is a full time course in Degree college which was done in Sardar Patel College of Engineering .

Placement Experience

4

Many companies came for the college interview, as far as i could remember there was tcs, infoysis, Microsoft, L & T, Siemens, Tata Power and lots of other companies also . Almost 90 % of the population received the jobs for all Degree ( Electronics, Mechanical, IT, Computer etc).

College Events

3.5

Lot of College Events were organised once / Twice in a year .Students use to themselves arrange for funds from the companies local stores and giving them advertisement in return and funding the event .Event were very good and event robotics event in particular was good which was funded by tata.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure during that time of 2004-2007 was 45000 for the non-aided section and i suppose 20000 for the aided section as party the aided section was funded by government.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes in Engineering if you score above 75 % during those time the tata was providing scholarship for those studdent based on the family income. I donot know now whether that is still going on or not.

Exam Structure

Exam structure for the Engineering is hectic, Lot of vivas Exams Lot of written exams .As it is a semester pattern every 6 months we have a exam and lot of subject to study, assigments, viva and written exams will make last 2 months of the 6 month period very hectic.
