Remarks

This was the most reputed college near to my hometown. Moreover through JEE Mains this the college I was getting. The placement record of this college was good. It has Splendious campus. The city where it was situated has the fabulous environment through the year. All these made me to choose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I have opted for Production Engineering. If anyone want his or her career in management feild Or white collor job this is the branch should go for. It's course structure contain interesting courses related to management.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience

The overall placement for the college is around 10 lakhs average which is good. If you are good at your academic and capable of clearing placement process you will be hired at nice package. The companies visiting the campus are plenty and you will get much opportunity to get any job.

College Events

Campus life at BIT is like heaven. Its campus is so clean and full of greenary that anyone can fall in love with the campus. The events organised through out the year are fabulous. Each events have it's own charm. There are technical fest i. e. Pantheon and a cultural fest i.e. Bitotsav are superb. These are four days events and each day is full of fun.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any kind of loan Or scholarship. But I know some of the scholarship that anyone with valid criteria can avail. Ekalyan scholarship provided by jharkhand government. College itself provides the Birla Scholarship to the Metrious students. Talking about loan anyone can easily take loan from State Bank Of India which it inside the campus. There are many banks other than SBI that provides loan.

Hostel Facilities

In the first year you have share your room with one of your colleague. Rooms are fully ventilated and are provided with free internet connection. From second year to fourth year each one has seperate rooms. The whole hostel corridors are provided with wifi connection and each room has its LAN facility. College infrastructure is very good, fully vanlitated surrounded by greenary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
