Remarks
Well IIT Bombay is the best college in India to do engineering. The factors like good placements, well-renowned faculties, good infrastructure, excellent cultural, sports, and technical activities, exposure to the real and corporate world are what make it the best college. And that's the reason I opted for this.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is one of the best in the world and completely updated. Yes, there is enough industrial exposure provided throughout the curriculum. The faculties are world-class having done Ph.D. from internationally renowned colleges and have good teaching experience too. Some of my favorite faculties are Prof. Manas Behra and Prof. Dasaka Murthy.

Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are better than any other college in India. Around 400 companies visit the campus every year which includes big names like Microsoft, Google, Apple, etc. Many international firms have started visiting too. The placement process at IIT Bombay has received accolades from many other institutions. It's very well organized and the information is communicated quickly to the students through online portals. The alumni network of IITB is one of the strongest. You name a firm and there will be at least one IITB alumni working there. And they are more than willing to help their fellow juniors. The entrepreneurship cell is very active here. It conducts workshops, webinars, competitions, and provides guidance to budding entrepreneurs. They also have E-summit every year in which many renowned people from the corporate world come to give speeches and various competitions are held.
College Events
Trust me when I say this, IIT Bombay has the best college life as compared to IITs. The reason is the location as well as exposure. There are numerous cultural, sports, and technical activities that go on around the campus all the time. Also, many technical teams, as well as cultural teams from IIT Bombay, have represented India on international platforms. This is the kind of exposure IITB provides. And you all know IIT Bombay hosts Asia's largest cultural festival- Mood Indigo. I am sure I don't need to explain the scale of it but let me. The football is around 1.5 lakh+, the participants come from all over India. We have international artists as well as renowned Indian artists like Shankar Ehsaan loy, Pankaj Tripathi, Amit Trivedi, Guru Randhawa coming to the fest to perform. Apart from this IITB also hosts Techfest- the technical fest and E-summit -The entrepreneurship fest.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarships which can be availed to waive off tuition fee or receive other scholarship funds. I availed MCM scholarship which waived off the tuition fee of one semester per year. There is an alumni cell that gives loans to required students which they can pay off after they get a job.
Campus Life
The infrastructure at IIT Bombay is great. There world-class sports facilities here with air conditioning. Right from cricket to weightlifting, every sport is played here. There's an Olympic size swimming pool, hockey field, football field, and a cricket ground as well. All racket sports have indoor as well as outdoor facilities. The wifi has a speed from 50-100 MBps(I am not kidding). The library is well built and is completely air-conditioned. It has different sitting options available catering to people who prefer to study alone or in a group. The labs are well equipped with all the latest and standard equipment.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is not that good but enough to live for 4 years. You will be sharing your room for the first 3 years and then in the 4th year, you will get a single room. There are enough hostel seats to accommodate everyone. And it's very easy to avail hostel facility, I mean it's inbuilt that you will live in the hostels.
