Remarks

Becase it is ranked first in best hotel college in india and 22nd in the world, it has completed its 35 years of teaching experience and I am from 32nd course,Our college organises National level quests and events

We had the most advanced curriculum and academics and our faculty are the most qualified in the field.Our college has provided the best aluminies. The college conducts many events even in university level.

Internships Opportunities

I had opted for internship in caravela beach resort Goa, my industrial training here describe fun that the hotel provided me was about 2000 per month

Placement Experience

there is excellent placement and job opportunity in our college top hotel hot companies such as the Oberoi Taj ITC another top rated premium hotel brands regularly visit to our college our college is owned by ITC hotels which is the Pioneer in in Indian hospitality industry

College Events

Campus Life is the best,you will fall in love with the social life that college will offer. Extra curricular activities like including sports,VSO, university competitions,the university has the a private sports complex called as the Marena.

scholarships like staff scholarship is provided and I will it because my mother is a staff in KMC hospital which is under the University and I am eligible for the scholarship,other scholarship like the minority scholarship and Konkani scholarships are provided

No I have not opted for hostel facility I was a localite and used to stay in a rented room. In Manipal rented rooms and PG facilities are available for students who are not able to get hostel facilities in the campus

After second year we are sent to hotels for internships and that is where we learn most of the stuff. My experience at WGSHA

I had gone through various colleges and their curriculum, but it did not excite me as I felt their focus was mainly on either food science or technology or nutrition. Not much importance to clinical or applied nutrition. My interest was in applied nutrition. The subjects here interested me the most with diet- medical nutrition therapy, clinical nutrition, sports nutrition and I could do specialization in public health. I was exposed to communities- speaking to people in their homes, anganwadis, school children, one month internship after 2nd sem and 6 months internship in the 4th semester. Usually they conduct Manipal entrance test for various courses but for msc dietetics and applied nutrition we had interview.
