Remarks

The high return of investment Good technical education Proximity to home Couldn't get into an IIT or NIT as I didn't quality JEE advance and didn't score well in jee mains. Hope I don't have to explain jee mains and advance to you.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My college is currently equipped with a plethora of conventional and cutting edge technology's machine and instructors. With the instalment of the new IT department, the scope of the college is very high. From a small power plant to 3D printers, robotic arms, CNC machines it has all types of Machinery, along with excellent faculties. A large portion of professors of IITs are from its alumni, established in 1949 it is one of the oldest institutions, with a huge and enriching alumni base, spreading all across the globe.

Placement Experience

3.5

It has a good placement record in the Indian core sector, TATA (4-5 companies), Aditya Birla group, Jindal steels and power both IRL, HUL, to name a few. With the instalment of the new IT cell, the college was visited by many IT firms, like TCS, Wipro, ZS Associates, Aviara, Samsung etc. This year there were many CS, IT students with multiple placements. Along with many coaching institutes, it is visited by many firms with the profile for business associates.

College Events

2

Campus life is great here, and not because of the administration because of the student culture that's been cultivated. The college is not big on funding any festival but we do have them each year, one technical one sports and one cultural festival. The participation is not as huge as we lack proper funding, and since it's a very underdeveloped area, getting big sponsorships is not even possible.

Campus Life

4

The campus is very large mostly comprising of trees. Infrastructure is very unique as it's polished with the modern setting on an old and solid foundation. It has 4-5 conference modern halls, an auditorium, hostels are well furnished and labs have well collaborated with modern equipment. Although it lacks in proper maintenance of track and field. The hostels don't yet have a wifi system, will be installed by the end of 2020, all the groundwork is already done there were some issues with the contractors.

Hostel Facilities

4

When I joined, the hostels were very shabby and had 5 students in one room, the room was big to accommodate but 5 in one room seemed very crowded, although in one month we found 8-9 people spending most of the time in one room. From second year new hostels were available and the old ones were renovated. And then from 3rd year, you may say in a room for only yourself, but we still found4-5 people spending most of the time in one room.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.
