Remarks

It is not the best college in Kolkata and does not make it to the list of top colleges. However, it is well to do college for average students. The faculties are good. Professors are helpful and friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview

We follow the syllabus of Calcutta University under the semester system. In Academics, The college is quite decent. Teachers are very helpful and friendly. The syllabus is always completed one month before the exam.

Placement Experience

I am a first-year student, so I particularly do not about the placement cell or entrepreneur cell in the college. As the website and prospectus suggest, we do not have a placement cell in our college.

College Events

The campus is not big. We have a huge auditorium in our college where all the events take place like the Annual function, Freshers, Teachers Day Celebration, Rabindra Jayanti, etc. We also have a variety of extracurricular activities too.

EY, PWC, Unacademy, and Deloitte are some of the big names which came last year and has been coming since long. SXC is renowned and placements are great as even B.Com (Hons) have students who have bagged packages worth 20 lakhs or so.

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else
