Remarks

I chose this College because the subject BMS very few Colleges Provide and I chose this course because I am passionate about journalism. The best thing about our course is you get an opportunity to meet people, and if used this course wisely, it can bring a change in society also.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready as they provide proper internships. Faculty members here are brilliant, and they are very friendly and co-operative. They are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is great, and they make the subjects very interesting for us.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 398000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are not that great in our college. Now, they have started providing some good internships, and a lot needs to be improved in this regard. Around 50 percent of the students got good internships, but most of them got on their own sources.

College Events

The College has many events all throughout the year, there is a business event, a cultural event, literary event, a sports event, a dedicated event for freshers. The College has a student council body which makes the participation of students much more inviting and filled with enthusiasm.

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
