Remarks

I chose this college, mainly because it was near my house. My parents wanted me to take admission somewhere nearby. This college was well-reputed, and everyone recommended it. This college has all the required facilities. The devices for practicals are latest and the library has most of the titles required.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are really updated. Recently the college brought forward Major/Minor course, where you can choose an extra subject to study from either your course or some other department course. Faculties in RCOEM are really good. They are knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Vikas Gupta sir is amazing in teaching us practicals and giving us required theoretical knowledge. He does so by including simulations through multisim and taking extra classes every now and then.

Placement Experience

I dunno about this much. But all the best companies come in RCOEM to intake trainees. The on campus placement is good, but college also recommends off campus placement and notifies students about it.

College Events

I don't know much about this as I didn't take part in much events, but recently there was an event called Entrix. This event was organized by seniors to teach technical stuffs related to branch of electronics. The seniors taught the participants really well (in the event). It was fun and "you should definitely try it" kinda event.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is recently getting updated. All classrooms are smart-classrooms. The size of the library is as big as required. Lab equipments are latest. Lan connectivity is there on entire campus. The amount of time you can keep a book from library without getting any fees is good (which is 14 days).

One of the best college in Mumbai

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . The highest package was 16 LPA and the avg is 4.37 LPA , placement percentage is 74% . I am planning to opt for MBA after BTECH

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.
