Remarks

Because of good location, the reviews of the institution was also good, also visited the college before admission and I liked how I was treated with care there. it is also a renowned college. The main reason for me to join the university was that I only had to travel 5 hrs to reach my home town and I could be home for any small vacation. As I always used to be away from my house where I only visited once a year.

Course Curriculum Overview

We had updated course. Also went on different industrial visits. All the faculties were very nice and caring. They listen to your problem and try to solve them. The faculties were like guardian to us. Our TG Dr. Jaya Rani Pandey was great.

Internships Opportunities

I did 2 month unpaid internship for my project in Nepal at NIC Asia bank. I got to experience many things which helped me further in my daily life

Placement Experience

Many companies visited for placements. We also have many workshop before placements from our alumni they shared their experience and inspired us to do our best college gave us many opportunities to get inspired by organizing many workshop and seminar

College Events

College life was very exciting we had departmental feast organized by all the department individually. Being MBA student we organized "Athena" ( name of MBA feast). We had a big feast every year that is "KAALRAV" which is of 3 days and we also have celebrity night on that feast. I participated on all of them sometimes being in the organizing committee or by performing.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is very good. We have a building called marena where all the indoor sport were there and also had gym. Sports facilities like Table Tennis, Basketball, Lawn Tennis, Squash, Football, Volleyball, Cricket,etc were provided. Wifi was provided 24/7. Library was also great.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room were also great. Two students have a share a room. We are provided with hot water all the time. The mess food was also good. The best thing in Smit hostel was it's night canteen which opens at 10pm to 2 am which satisfied our night craving.

Hostel Fee: INR 115000 per year

Life of distance education

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was a standard MBA program- Accounting, Marketing being main subjects. Others secondary subjects were also upto real-world situations and demands. Exams were of good standard. Need to prepare well enough but not stressful.

Remarks:

I was working and studying at the same time. I wanted to fund my own education. So I wanted to go for Distance Education so that I will be able to manage both. Sikkim Manipal University is the most reputed institution when it comes to getting degree for distance learning.

Joined wisely
