Anonymous's Review On Delhi Technological University - [DTU], New Delhi

I took admission in its Computer Science branch because of its good placements as well as its location(Delhi). Its also near to my home state, which was also a major factor behind selecting DTU. It also has a great alumni network.

Being in first year, I don't know that much but I have heard from my seniors that the course curriculum is outdated. Many of the faculty members are not as good. However, few of them are quite good. Most of what you learn here is from your friends and classmates. Its not academically very rigorous, which gives students time to pursue their interests and see which field suits you the most. Our college also gives a great industry exposure. Many alumni of our college are working in top MNCs like Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc. Some of our alumni are now IAS, IPS. Some are doing MBA from from IIMs. Some doing research(number of these are few). Founder of Paytm is an alumni of DTU.

I don't know much information about this. All I know is that we have great companies like Amazon, Goldman Sachs.etc companies visiting this year.uvhvjkknffvccvbbbjhnknmjvvgj hby hv y yx h h bh

Campus life is great. You can go outside the campus till 12am(for girls, I think its 11pm). Its a big campus(169 acres). Talking about fests, we have all sort of fests like literature fest(Yuvaan), techfest, art and culture fest, sports fest(Ahvaan), and the most important our cultural fest(ENGIFEST). Engifest is North India's one of the biggest fest. There are 3 nights concert. 1st is bollywood night,2nd is punjabi night and 3rd was edm night.

You can easily get a loan. There is an SBI Bank inside the campus, making it more easier for you. Also there is a need based scholarship, that you can apply in first and third year. But this scholarship cover only your tuition fees. It will not cover the hostel fees as well as the maintenance fees(not sure about maintenance fees). Also there are few other merit based scholarship, but generally the amount that one gets of such scholarships is low.

Although being old, hostels are OK. Only Outside Delhi students are allocated the hostels. In first year, you will get 3 seater room. In 2nd year, double roon and in 3rd year, single or double room(decided on the basis of distance of your home from the college, more distance means single room). In fourth year, you get single room.
