Remarks

Law is my passion. I want to be a judge and this institute has given several judicial servants in the past which played a major role in attracting me towards it. The second major factor about it is that this comes under the central universities and hence government scholarships are easy to avail by students like me who belong to the economically backward classes. However, the scholarship programme of the central government in this college only benefits the students from Uttar Pradesh and not the students from other states.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The faculty of Law does not have permanent teachers. The college is running on the responsibilities of guest faculties who are not so interested in teaching except a few. Also, there is no seriousness about the studies as well as the extra curricular activities like MUNs and Moots among the faculty staffs. The students have to manage it all on their own.

Internships Opportunities

You have to take your steps to intern with a lawyer or a company. No paid internships are provided.

Placement Experience

0.5

No company provides campus placement cell to this college. The place is good only for the students who have no interest in corporate sector and want to join judicial or civil service at any cost. No placement are available in the college. Every student has to be self dependent to be able to have a job in future.

College Events

1

If one wants to enjoy the campus life of a college, I feel sorry to say but this college is not a good choice. No cultural programmes are organiesd, neither is any festival or pooja celebrated. Even if the students take up the responsibility of organizing and holding a programme in the college campus, the authority is too inactive and uninterested to allow ant such event.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The central government has a scholarship programme for the students but the students from states other than UP are debbarred from availing it. Even if you fill the form and fulfil the criteria you won't get it because your home town is not in UP.

Campus Life

1.5

The infrastructure is very poor. The library has not been renovated for a long time. No new books are being brought. There are no sports facilities in the campus. The campus only has a parking area where students gather for chit-chat. The administration is not at all concerned about the poor infrastructure. There are two buildings in the campus one of which has no clean washroom. We need to go to the other building even to pee.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The hostel infrastructure is good. The campus is full of greenery. It has a basketball court too but no trainer to train the students for the sport. The mess is quite filthy. The food provided in the mess tastes horrible. It's also very harmful for halth ad they do not provide any healthy food there.

I chose LLB because I had pursued a career in law and I have a huge interest in law. In my faculty, the ratio is around 50-50. The teaching methods are good and receptive enough. Exams are held timely and are of moderate difficulty

Course Curriculum Overview:

Law has always intrigued me. Added to that, I have a knack for business too. So choosing the course was not really difficult. The college curriculum is very well spread over the 10 semesters and the balance between the law subjects and the business subjects is balanced. there are all, 5 divisions in which the students are divided and each class has about 40-45 students so the interpersonal interaction between the faculty and students is regular. The faculty is really helpful and well-versed in the subjects they are teaching. Their methods of evaluation and education help develop the understanding of the law and business side-by-side. Examinations or evaluations happen on a regular basis in form of quizzes and tutorials and end-term examinations. The examinations covered all the important portions of the curriculum and really tested their understanding of the law of the students by giving us case studies and open-ended questions.

There is no facility of placement provided by the college. Almost there is no opportunity for placement except government job. I'm here to complete my graduation to find a foreign job after completing my CA. Because there is a lack of jobs available in India.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is not very active. This year only 2 students got placed in TATA AIG. In last year students are eligible for campus placement. In future, this no may rise. Last year 6-7 of my senior batch students got placed. Packages offered are avg. It is around 5-6 lac per annum. Students have to work hard to get better placement. The majority of people go for judiciary and litigation. After getting my degree I gonna appear for civil services. Many students do go for civil services here.

Remarks:

Still growing institution, so the management is also likely to sometimes make mistakes. So be prepared for that. Other than that one must really appreciate what this institution has achieved in the last 7 years only. It has developed a reputation for itself in such a short time period which is truly commendable.
